Peak Financial Planning

Privacy Policy

Effective July 23, 2026

Website Scope

Peak Financial Planning, LLC (“Peak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers financial planning and investment advisory services to eligible persons located in the United States. Our website is not directed to residents of jurisdictions outside the United States, and we do not market or offer advisory services outside the United States.

The website may nevertheless be technically accessible from other locations. Limited device, browser, and interaction information may be collected automatically when any visitor accesses the website, as described below. Visitors located outside the United States should not submit personal information through our website.

Information We Collect Through the Website

Information you provide. We collect information that you voluntarily submit through forms, scheduling tools, email, telephone, text message, or other communications. Depending on the form or service, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, state of residence, retirement-planning information, financial ranges, communication preferences, and other information you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically. When you visit or interact with our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address or approximate location derived from it;
  • browser, device, operating-system, and screen information;
  • pages viewed, referring and exit pages, dates and times, and session activity;
  • links, calls to action, videos, and website features used;
  • traffic-source information, including campaign parameters and referring content;
  • form views, starts, progress, submissions, scheduling activity, and incomplete or abandoned activity;
  • identifiers stored in cookies, local storage, or similar technologies; and
  • advertising, attribution, and conversion events.

If you later identify yourself by submitting a form or scheduling a call, HubSpot or another service provider may associate prior website activity with the contact record created or updated from your submission.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on or accessed from your device. We also use pixels, tags, local storage, scripts, and similar technologies. Some are necessary for website operation, security, accessibility, preference storage, form functionality, and fraud prevention. Others help us measure website use, understand marketing performance, improve the visitor experience, and evaluate advertising.

Unless you have opted out, sent a recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal that we are legally required to honor, or are otherwise covered by a configuration that restricts tracking, analytics and advertising technologies may begin operating when a page loads.

Analytics and Website Measurement

We use Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, and related tools to understand how visitors find and use our websites, including www.thepeakfp.com and roadmap.thepeakfp.com. These tools help us measure traffic, landing pages, content engagement, calls to action, form activity, scheduling activity, conversions, and marketing attribution.

Google Tag Manager controls and delivers certain measurement tags. Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish browsers, measure sessions and interactions, and produce aggregate reporting. We use this information to operate and improve the website, evaluate content, diagnose technical problems, and understand which marketing efforts generate consultations and clients.

Advertising and the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel and related Meta business tools to measure advertising and website performance, attribute conversions, build or exclude advertising audiences, and improve advertising relevance and effectiveness. Depending on your settings and applicable law, the Meta Pixel may transmit event information to Meta, such as the page visited, visit time, browser or device information, campaign information, and actions such as viewing a consultation page or completing a scheduling event.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some state privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough that advertising pixels or audience tools may fall within those definitions. Where applicable, you may opt out as described below.

Peak does not currently use Meta’s server-side Conversions API. If that technology is activated later, this policy and the related disclosures will be reviewed and updated.

Forms, Scheduling, and Incomplete Submissions

We use HubSpot, Fillout, and related providers for website forms, consultation qualification, scheduling, contact management, and follow-up. These tools may save information as you progress through a form even if you do not complete or formally submit it. This may include form-session identifiers, fields already entered, source and campaign information, form progress, scheduling progress, and timestamps.

We may use incomplete-submission information to maintain the form experience, prevent duplicate processing, measure abandonment, reconcile booking activity, and follow up where permitted by law and consistent with the information and communication preferences you provided.

Embedded Content and Video

Our website may include videos or content provided by third parties, including YouTube and other video-hosting or measurement providers. When you load or interact with embedded content, the provider may receive device, browser, IP-address, page, and interaction information under its own privacy terms. Where available and appropriate, we may use privacy-enhanced embedding or defer certain third-party features until interaction.

How We Use Website Information

  • provide, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot our websites and forms;
  • respond to inquiries and schedule consultations;
  • understand website traffic, visitor pathways, and content performance;
  • measure calls to action, form activity, bookings, and other conversions;
  • connect marketing sources and website behavior with consultation and business outcomes;
  • measure, attribute, and improve advertising and educational content;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, duplication, and technical errors;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, compliance, and recordkeeping obligations; and
  • protect the rights, safety, and property of Peak, our clients, and others.

Service Providers and Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information to service providers that process it on our behalf for website hosting, analytics, customer relationship management, forms, scheduling, communications, security, advertising measurement, and related operations. Current providers may include HubSpot, Google, Meta, Fillout, YouTube, and other vendors used to operate Peak’s websites and consultation process.

We may also disclose information when required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Our use of advertising and audience tools may constitute “sharing,” “sale,” or processing for targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws, and applicable opt-out rights are described below.

Your Privacy Choices

You may manage applicable website analytics and advertising choices at any time. Your choices apply to this browser or device.

Analytics. You may opt out of non-essential analytics cookies and similar browser-based measurement.

Advertising. You may opt out of advertising pixels, audience creation, cross-context behavioral advertising, and processing treated as sale or sharing under applicable law.

Necessary technologies. Technologies necessary for security, accessibility, preference storage, forms requested by the visitor, and core website operation cannot be disabled through the preference tool.

After an opt-out, we will stop applicable future browser-based tracking on that browser or device. An opt-out may not delete information collected before the choice was made, and it may need to be repeated if cookies are deleted, a different browser or device is used, or the preference identifier can no longer be read.

You may also control cookies through browser settings and vendor-specific Google and Meta privacy or advertising settings. Blocking all cookies may affect certain website functions.

Where required by applicable law, we recognize and process supported browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control. A legally valid signal will be treated as a request to opt out for the browser or device sending it, as required by applicable law.

State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.

To exercise an applicable right, email admin@thepeakfp.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify your request and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law. You may use an authorized agent where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Nothing in this section expands or limits rights, exemptions, or obligations that apply under federal or state financial-services privacy laws, including information governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, or under investment-adviser recordkeeping requirements.

Data Retention

We retain website, analytics, form, contact, and advertising information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating the website, responding to inquiries, measuring performance, maintaining records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and satisfying legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations. Retention periods vary by data type, system configuration, relationship, and applicable legal requirement.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices, technologies, vendors, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially different processing begins.
