No games, no surprises — here's exactly what we charge.
Two steps, two fees, and you'll never pay both at once. A flat fee for the plan, and — only if you choose to continue — a transparent percentage for the ongoing relationship. Every number is on this page.
Book your discovery callStep one: your Comprehensive Retirement Roadmap — a flat $8,000
That's it for step one. It's a real fee for a real product — a complete plan you own, detailed enough to run yourself. You are not required to continue into a wealth management relationship, and plenty of clients don't.
Step two: the ongoing relationship — a tiered percentage
If you choose to continue, the ongoing relationship is billed as a percentage of the assets we manage — billed monthly, fee-only, with no commissions, no products, and no trade costs. It's tiered, and each band applies only to the assets within it, so your effective rate is a blend that comes down as your assets grow:
Everyone in the ongoing relationship gets retirement, tax, and income planning plus tax-efficient investment management. The financial planning never stops — it continues for as long as you're with us.
You never pay both at once
The wealth management relationship starts at $1 million in managed assets. If you decide to continue partway through your planning engagement, we stop the remaining planning installments and replace them with the wealth management fee — you don't stack one on top of the other.
If you form the ongoing relationship at the end of month three, the final $1,000 installment is cancelled, and the wealth management fee takes its place going forward.
Why we price it this way
We lead with a flat fee for the plan on purpose. Think of it as dating before marriage: you get the full experience of working with us — the complete plan, the reasoning behind it, the quality of our thinking — and you decide whether you even want the ongoing relationship before any percentage-based fee is ever on the table. That's what real transparency looks like.
And we'll repeat the uncomfortable part we say everywhere else: in step two, we're paid on the assets we manage, which is the same incentive that leads many advisors to quietly encourage you to underspend. Our job is the opposite — to show you how much you can safely spend and give you permission to enjoy it. Our goal is to always deliver value far in excess of the fees you pay: saving you time, helping you avoid costly mistakes, and making tax-smart decisions so you can retire without worry.
