Pricing · Radical transparency

No games, no surprises — here's exactly what we charge.

Two steps, two fees, and you'll never pay both at once. A flat fee for the plan, and — only if you choose to continue — a transparent percentage for the ongoing relationship. Every number is on this page.

WHAT YOU'LL PAY
Step one · The plan$8,000
Flat — the same at any level of wealth
Step two · Ongoing (optional)1.00–0.25%
Tiered on assets we manage; blends down as you grow
You never pay both at once

Step one: your Comprehensive Retirement Roadmap — a flat $8,000

THE PLAN, FLAT
$8,000
The same whether you've saved $500,000 or $15 million.
To start$4,000
Then, each month for four months$1,000

That's it for step one. It's a real fee for a real product — a complete plan you own, detailed enough to run yourself. You are not required to continue into a wealth management relationship, and plenty of clients don't.

Step two: the ongoing relationship — a tiered percentage

If you choose to continue, the ongoing relationship is billed as a percentage of the assets we manage — billed monthly, fee-only, with no commissions, no products, and no trade costs. It's tiered, and each band applies only to the assets within it, so your effective rate is a blend that comes down as your assets grow:

ASSETS WE MANAGEANNUAL RATE
First $1,000,0001.00%
Next $1,000,000 ($1M–$2M)0.85%
Next $3,000,000 ($2M–$5M)0.75%
Next $10,000,000 ($5M–$15M)0.50%
Above $15,000,0000.25%

Everyone in the ongoing relationship gets retirement, tax, and income planning plus tax-efficient investment management. The financial planning never stops — it continues for as long as you're with us.

The fees, explained

Prefer to hear it in plain English?

A short walkthrough of exactly how the two fees work — and why we price it this way.

How our fees work

You never pay both at once

The wealth management relationship starts at $1 million in managed assets. If you decide to continue partway through your planning engagement, we stop the remaining planning installments and replace them with the wealth management fee — you don't stack one on top of the other.

FOR EXAMPLE

If you form the ongoing relationship at the end of month three, the final $1,000 installment is cancelled, and the wealth management fee takes its place going forward.

Why we price it this way

We lead with a flat fee for the plan on purpose. Think of it as dating before marriage: you get the full experience of working with us — the complete plan, the reasoning behind it, the quality of our thinking — and you decide whether you even want the ongoing relationship before any percentage-based fee is ever on the table. That's what real transparency looks like.

And we'll repeat the uncomfortable part we say everywhere else: in step two, we're paid on the assets we manage, which is the same incentive that leads many advisors to quietly encourage you to underspend. Our job is the opposite — to show you how much you can safely spend and give you permission to enjoy it. Our goal is to always deliver value far in excess of the fees you pay: saving you time, helping you avoid costly mistakes, and making tax-smart decisions so you can retire without worry.

Common questions

Do I have to move into wealth management?

No. The plan stands on its own, it's yours to keep, and plenty of clients run it themselves.

Is the flat fee really the same regardless of my wealth?

Yes — $8,000, whether you've saved $500,000 or $15 million.

Are there any commissions or hidden costs?

No. We're fee-only and commission-free. We don't sell products, and there are no trade costs in the ongoing relationship.

What happens to the planning fee if I continue?

Any remaining planning installments are cancelled and replaced by the wealth management fee. You never pay both.
