Sales Consultant Role

As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling our $8,000 project-based financial plans to qualified prospects who have already raised their hand.

You will be one of the first human touchpoints a prospect has with Peak, and you will play a major role in maintaining and growing the Peak Financial Planning brand.

Sales Team Vision

We are building a world-class consultative sales team inside a fiduciary financial planning firm.

Meaning: we are looking for people who can combine financial planning knowledge, wealth management sales experience, emotional intelligence, follow-up discipline, and high personal standards.

This is not a traditional advisor role.

You will not be building plans, running projections, preparing recommendations, or managing client portfolios. We have a dedicated advisory and planning team for that.

This is a sales role.

We are looking for someone who has already sold financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, investment advisory, insurance/annuity planning, or a similar high-trust financial service.

You do not need to be a CFP to be considered.

But you do need to understand how people buy financial advice, how to explain the value of planning, and how to guide a qualified prospect through a serious financial decision.

If you do hold the CFP designation, that gives you a major edge. You will be able to answer deeper planning questions from knowledge, build trust faster, and speak the language of the prospects we serve.

For candidates who currently hold the CFP designation, Peak will offer a $25,000 signing bonus.

We want someone who can turn complexity into clarity and help the right people confidently move forward.

Results

Requirements

  • Prior experience selling financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, investment advisory, insurance/annuity planning, or a similar financial service
  • Strong understanding of how prospects evaluate and buy financial advice
  • Self-sufficient and able to properly manage one's own time
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up and CRM discipline
  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable
  • Comfortable working remotely

Compensation

  • $50,000 base salary + uncapped commission
  • Performance-based commission
  • Expected commission: $95,000-$110,000 per year
  • Expected total compensation: $145,000-$160,000
  • $25,000 signing bonus for candidates who currently hold the CFP designation
