1) What you’d like to spend in retirement
2) What your guaranteed income in retirement will be
3) What amount of income you will need to generate from saved assets in order to meet your desired level of spending
4) Know how much to save, or how to invest so that you can produce that income from your saved assets.
Once you have that mapped out, you will be surprised at the permission you will give yourself to dream big when it comes to your retirement.
